BAD WILDUNGEN - Already in the first part of the German championships multi-disciplines in Bad Wildungen, 41-year-old Sven Daske and his wife Steffi scored three gold medals. The hattrick was opened by Sven taking the title in the free game, he also won the balk-line 47/2 two days later. His wife Steffi was the best and took the title in three cushion for women. The German championships, in which some 500 billiard players compete for the titles, are half on the way.

Sven Daske needed a thrilling final to take the title in 47/2. The SCB Langedamm player defeated Markus Melerski 200-198 in seven innings. Thomas Nockemann lost in the semifinals to Melerski and finished third like Arnd Riedel who was beaten by Daske.

Thomas Nockemann won two matches in the group stage in two innings.

Sven Daske started the championship with two titles and has still two chances for gold in the coming days. Steffi Daske took the title in three cushion for women in the final against Christine Shuh, 17-10 in 40 innings. The level overall was not very high. Only two of 15 games finished within 40 innings. Steffi Daske played the best match against Jennifer Assmann in the semi-finals: 20-9, 0.952. The overall average of the champion was 0.544.
