THE HAGUE/HAARLO - The top three teams in the Dutch league, with SIS Cleaning in the leading position, remains unchanged after the sixth round. The Hague team powered its way to victory against A1 Biljarts (8-0), the two other teams on top, L&B Ledermode (against Burgmans) and HCR Prinsen (against Dallinga) also were smoking hot on this sixth match day with 8-0 wins. The main surprise came from the 'Far east': Bousema Lochem beat Team Eekhoorn 6-2 and settled comfortably in the top five.

The best matches were recorded by Roland Forthomme, Eddie Leppens, Stefan Galla and Jeffrey Jorissen, three foreign nationals and one Dutchman, who all played around two average. The Zundert victory over 't Ivoor was forced by Forthomme, who beat Frenchman Jérôme Barbeillon 40-35 in 17 innings. Eddie Leppens crowned the good work for Prinsen in the match against Jean Paul de Bruijn (40-32 in 18).

SIS Cleaning was never in trouble against A1 Biljarts with victories of Glenn Hofman over Martien van der Spoel, Jean van Erp over Richard Bitalis, Raimond Burgman over Kay de Zwart and Jeffrey Jorissen over Addy Wienk. Leppens, De Kleine, Pijl and Swertz came out to shine for Prinsen against De Bruijn, Van Acker, Van Nijnatten and Saver.

Without Caudron, like Jaspers playing in the Bundesliga, Dallinga again showed to be a vulnerable team that narrowly can maintain in the middle part of the ranking. Aardexpress (7-1 loss to Hartje/Van Wanrooy), finds itself in the lower part. 'T Ivoor had again an excellent Huub Wilkowski in the team, who defeated Barry van Beers 40-25 in 22 innings. That was not enough for the team victory, because Zundert ran out to 6-2 at the other tables.

Burgmans Biljarts remains at one single point out of six games after the 8-0 defeat by L&B Ledermode with a gap in all match scores. Janssen and Bart Ceulemans played around 1 average, Van Manen and Roijers remained well below.

Team Eekhoorn couldn't leave its low position on the ranking. The Brabant team, last year among the top dogs, was beaten by Bousema Lochem (6-2). Stefan Galla was the best man with a win over Frans van Kuyk 40-30 in 20 innings. Sander Jonen was the lucky guy for the team with a hard-fought win over Jerry Hermans: 40-39 in 42. Frans van Schaik suffered his first loss for Bousema.
