Three teams battle for only one place

ANDERNOS - Two encounters will close the regular French team competition on Thursday this week: in Schiltigheim the teams of Agipi and Andernos face each other, the second match is in Andernos between Kozoom and Albert.

Agipi and Andernos, the leaders in the league, have been seeded for the playoffs together with Laxou. Due to the withdrawal of Clichy Montmartre the encounter between Albert and Kozoom is decisive for which team is the fourth in the semifinals of the playoffs. Gravelines, that does not play itself, is the other contender.

Agipi has totalized eight points, thirty match points and averaged 1.663, Andernos is second with 1.541 average, Laxou is the third in the rank. For Agipi only Marco Zanetti and Jean-Christophe Roux played a draw, all the other matches were won. The Andernos players won fifteen of sixteen mtches: only Francis Connesson lost one.

Albert needs a little miracle to qualify in Andernos. The team will only secure a place in the finals by an 8-0 victory. Kozoom will be seeded with a win against Albert. Gravelines will be seeded if Albert wins the match against Kozoom, unless it will be 8-0 or when the encounter ends in a draw.
