Balk-Line 47/1
HAARLO - The real fans of balk-line playing have the chance to watch a nice tournament this weekend. The Dutch championship 47/1 is played in Haarlo today (Saturday) and tomorrow and is broadcast live and for free on Kozoom. The most notable player in the field is Henri Tilleman, who returns to the arena after a few years of absence.
The multiple Dutch champion runs a dog house and has withdrawn from top billiards for several years. Tilleman is an expert in the balk-lines and has undoubtedly prepared well for his come-back. Sam van Etten and Michel van Silfhout are among the contenders. The great balk-line player Raymund Swertz will not play. ,,I have chosen to play with my team in the three cushion competition tomorrow, Sunday.''
The tournament starts with the preliminaries this morning, Saturday at 10.00. Two groups of four try to qualify for the final places.
