Title fight on busy calendar in America

Hugo Patino, the current number one on the ranks in America.
NEW YORK - The USBA (American billiards association) will organize a number of tournaments in the upcoming weeks, including the national championship three-cushion from 6 to 10 May, which must be the highlight for the top players. The American players meet for the title fight at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pedro Piedrabuena is the defending champion, Hugo Patino, the current number one on the ranks, the runner-up.
Moreover next week, 20-22 April, there is a tournament for the 2012 USBA Tour played in Maywood, where six players from the top of the ranks are seeded: Hugo Patino, Pedro Piedrabuena, Mazin Shooni, Miguel Torres, Michael Kang and Sonny Cho. The tournament is played in the Eight Ball Billiards Center. The prize money is $ 17,000, the winner is rewarded by $ 4000.
From April 27 to 29 will be held the Mike Kelley Memorial in Marshalltown.
The provisional participants list for the American championship consists of 56 players. The top four finishers of the championship in 2011 are:

For the tournament in the Open USBA Tour the top six players of the ranks will receive the $ 300 bonus each for expenses. The ranking on 29 February is therefore used:
1 Hugo Patino, 2 Pedro Piedrabuena, 3 Shooni Mazin, 4 Miguel Torres, 5 Michael Kang, 6 Sonny Cho.
The forty players for the tournament are divided into 5 groups of 8 players, who together all parties to take in 25 points. The two group winners will be seeded for next round.
In the main tournament 12 players will be divided into 2 groups of 6. They will play to 30 points.
