Tonny Carlsen grabs his sixth Danish title

COPENHAGEN - In the billiard room where Tonny Carlsen and his team have achieved many successes, he has grabbed his sixthe Danish title in his career. In the final of the championship he defeated Lars Dunck 3-1 in sets. Carlsen earned the title: he remained unbeaten, finished with the highest average of 1.490 and the highest running of eleven.

The final battle left no doubt about who really was the best. Lars Dunck could threaten his opponent only in the third set. He came back from 2-0 behind with a 15-7, but then had to surrender in the fourth set.

Lars Dunck nevertheless played in this championship, in which reached the final fr the first time, some wonderful matches. The win over Jacob Haack Sorensen in the semis was very surprising. Dunck won in four sets.

Tonny Carlsen defeated veteran Poul Bjerring convincingly in the semifinals (3-0).

With his title Carlsen showed that he is with his experience and high class still capable to play on a riant level. Carlsen won in his career silver at European championships, at World championships and at the World championship for teams.
