Top of the French players in Open Lunel

LUNEL - The third edition of the Open Lunel three cushion tournament is played this weekend from Friday until Sunday 31st of October to 2nd of November. The handicap tournament has has become one of the biggest events in three-cushion in France. The best French players, including Jérémy Bury, the number 13 of the world rankings, make a shot at the final victory.

During the preliminary rounds 8 groups of 6 play to 25 points for the Masters, 20 for the nationally-1 players, 17 for the nationally-2 and 15 for the nationally-3 players. These distances are increased during the knock-out phase to 35, 28, 24 and 21.

The winner earns 3000 euros, the second 2000, the third 1000 prizes. The highest tournament run is rewarded with a 200 euros bonus from the total prize money of 9350 euros.
