SEOUL - The top players sponsored by Kimchi are invited to play the Kimchi Players League 2015 in the days after the World Cup in Guri. The event is an invitational tournament with a total of thirty players. The tournament will be held in the Kimchi club in Seoul from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th September.
The best-known players, sponsored by Kimchi, which come to the start are Frédéric Caudron, Marco Zanetti, Eddy Merckx, Eddy Leppens, Therese Klompenhouwer, Birol Uymaz, Jae Guen Kim and Hyung Bum Hwang.
The total of prize money is 26.750 euros, the number one will be rewarded like in the World Cup by 5.500 euros, the runner up with 3500 and both semi-finalists with 2.200 euros.
The World Cup in Guri is played in the week before the Kimchi tournament.
