SAN MIGUEL - The production company RAJU in Peru, led by the famous billiard player Ramon Rodriguez and his wife July Pinedo, is in full preparation for a major event: the Grand Prix Panamericano. Many of the South American stars like Huberney Catano, Carlos Campino, Juan Jose Garcia, Henry Diaz, Robinson Morales, Javier Teran and Luis Aveiga have already signed up. The tournament will be played in San Miguel, from October 29th to November 1st.

The town of San Miguel has offered the facilities for this mega tournament. The venue is the Auditorio de la Casa de la Cultura. For now, already eighty players are on the list.

RAJU is a team involved in the organization: Ramon Rodriguez brings his experience in the sports, July Pinedo is very active in the field of media, radio and television. Both are also known for the organisation of national and international events. Ramon Rodriguez is not only known as a famous musician in his country, he's also for twenty years one of the leading South American billiard players.
The prize money for the tournament is 20.000 US dollars, distributed among the top 24 ranked players.
