Torbjörn Blomdahl had a glorious weekend in Germany.

Torbjörn Blomdahl has played an excellent weekend in the German Bundesliga. The Swede won his match on Saturday for BC Horster Eck with 50 caroms in twelve innings, an average of 4.166. The leader in the German league played against CBV Neustadt and won 8-0. Blomdahls opponent was Thomas Ahrens, who had only twelve points.
On Sunday Horster Eck played the home match against BC Herne Stamm. Blomdahl faced a strong Barry Beers, but finished with 50-41 in 28 innings (1.785 to 1.464 average for Van Beers).
Horster Eck is the leader in the top division with 22 points in eleven games. Martin Horn was also very succesful in the dual program. On Saturday he beat his opponent with 50 points in 29 innings. And on Sunday the German defeated his opponent Gokmen with 50 caroms in 22 innings.
BC Horster Eck played an extremely high team average on Saturday, because also Thomas Frings scored high with 1.428. Everman, the fourth layer, averaged 1.081. The team total was 1.698.
Stefan Galla recorded a win and a tie for BC Elversberg, first on Saturday against Jean van Erp (50 to 29 in 23), on Sunday he drawed against Jens Eggers.
Johan Schirmbrand from the Elversberg team had a good match against Andreas Kronlachner (50-19 in 30).
Jean van Erp recovered on Sunday from his defeat one day earlier by beating Grossjung with 50 points in 28 innings.
Dick Jaspers grabbed two victories with Magdeburg in the second league. The world number one defeated Rob Mans on Saturday in sixteen innings (40-12) and Frank Martens on Sunday 50-32 in twenty
