Agree
I agree, it's great that Lennart stil plays on a good level and in the Swedish championship, but we may not forget so many players from that age who are performing on that level. And in that case: let's forget Raymond Ceulemans, because he's the miracle himself.

Lennart was and still is fantastic..
Yes true Fritz! Lennart Blomdahl is in many ways amazing. He will be 73 years this November and are still playing / coach on cosiness level. Personally, he is (despite the Caudron and others) the player so I admire most.
Lennart was even a really good player in several disciplines. I remember very clearly when he and Torbjörn won the European Championship for 2-man team in Copenhagen, where Lennart defeated Ludo Dielis and Torbjörn won over Raymond Ceulemans in almost the same second. Torbjörn with a fantastic finish.

Lennart was also several times European champion in carom cones (a danish game on carom-tables), which unfortunately is not been played more (only in Denmark), where Lennart spent years practically "held playgroup" with the best Danish players.
Lennart's Swedish championships are numerous. Also in the classical disciplines.
And beyond it, so is he a great teacher, which Torbjörn clearly proofs..

Admiration
I'm gonna share your admiration, now I read this about Lennart. I knew him from the world championships with Torbjörn, of course, but what a great man in other kind of disciplines as well. Thanks for all this information, my Swedish friend.
