MALMÖ - The four semifinalists in the championship of Sweden are known. Torbjörn Blomdahl, Björn Lohmander, David Pennör and Michael Nilsson has seeded in the quarterfinals in the Carom Club in Malmo.

Torbjörn Blomdahl took the win in the quarters in a special match. He defeated his father Lennart, with whom he was world champion for national teams with Sweden in 1987 and 1991.

The youngest Blomdahl showed himself the strongest in three sets tonight, although the average was not that spectacular: 15-9, 15-8, 15-3 (1.098/0.513).

In another match for the quarters Peter and Bjorn Lohmander faced each others. Peter Lohmander only took the first set 15-12, the following three were won by Bjorn: 15-9, 15-12, 15-11 (1.056/0.887).

David Pennör came to the last four with a 3-1 win against Nalle Olsson (15-6, 1-15, 15-13, 15-14). Michael Nilsson played the highest average in his quarterfinal match against Tay Couc Co, which he won 3-0. Nilsson averaged  1.250.

Tomorrow (Saturday) the semi-finals and finals will be played.
