Torbjörn Blomdahl on top with prize money in qualifications

Torbjörn Blomdahl earned 2000 euros in his three qualification matches.

The Swedish player Torbjörn Blomdahl took the biggest bonus in the two qualification rounds for the Agipi Masters. He won two matches, against Ruben Legazpi and Daniel Sánchez, lost against Dion Nelin, but earned 750 euros bonus for the run of 15 against Legazpi and 500 for a match in fourteen innings against Daniel Sánchez. Together with the match money it brings him on 2000 euros.

Michael Nilsson, seven times world champion with national teams, and the Korean Sung Won Choi took a bonus of 1900 euros. Nilsson for his three wins against Tayfun Tasdemir, Jef Philipoom and Anh Vu Duong and his runs of twelve and eleven. Sung Won Choi for his performance last weekend with wins over Kim, Umeda and Barbeillon.

In the next round Torbjörn Blomdahl will play in the group with Frédéric Caudron, Nikos Polychronopoulos, Eddy Merckx and Haeng Jik Kim.

Nilsson has been seeded in a group with Marco Zanetti, Martin Horn, Tayfun Tasdemir and Javier Palazon. Sung Won Choi plays in the poule with Roland Forthomme, Filippos Kasidokostas, Dion Nelin and Glenn Hofman.

The ranking in money of the two qualification rounds is:

Torbjörn Blomdahl: 2000 euros.

Sung-Won Choi, Michael Nilsson: 1900 euros

Jung Han Heo 1750 euros.

Glenn Hofman 1400 euros.

Kyung-Roul Kim, Tayfun Tasdemir, Haeng Jik Kim, Javier Palazón 1250 euros.

Jérôme Barbeillon 1200 euros.

Daniel Sánchez, Eddy Leppens, Ryuuji Umeda, Jean-Cristophe Roux, Ruben Legazpi, Anh Vu Duong 1100 euros.

Dion Nelin, Eddy Merckx, Pierre Soumagne 750 euros.

Sameh Sidhom, Cédric Melnytschenko, Erik Tromas 600 euros.
