BERGISCH GLADBACH - Torbjörn Blomdahl was again the big hitter for his team Bergisch Gladbach in the bundesliga clash against Ravensburger BC. The Swedish captain of the team sparkled with one of his famous attacks match against Tayfun Tasdemir: Blomdahl led by 27-4 in six innings and triumphed 40-13 in 12. Bergisch won the match 8-0.

The match was the highlight of 16th day in the league and in the encounter between the numbers one and two. Bergisch, the second in the ranking, four points behind Ravensburger, showed itself superior. Martin Horn played an excellent match as well and defeated Klaus Bosel 40-18 in 17 innings.

Torbjörn Blomdahl left immediately after his match for the Supercup Gala in Antwerp. There he looked back to a period with three world class matches: in the Hurghada World Cup, in the French league and in the bundesliga on Saturday. ,,I could have chosen better moments to be in such a great form'', said the Swede in Antwerp. ,,This period there are no individual tournaments to pick up important points for the ranking. But maybe I can do something really nice with Michael Nilsson for Sweden at the World championships in Viersen.''
