ANKARA - The Turkish federation concluded the championships for players under 17, under 21, ladies and veterans this weekend at its billiard centre in Ankara. The titles were contested in these categories, in which the final stages were played. This Saturday was the final day and the champions were honored. From there, selections are also made for the European and world championships. The titles went to Burak Hashas, Denizcan Akkoca, Gülsen Degener, who recaptured the women's title, and Senol Sengül.
Burak Haşhas became overall champion and won the final under-17 stage, beating Doğukan Kanber 30-13 in 20 (1,500-0,684) in the final. Haşhas recorded the best game against Gökalp Cebeoğlu: 25-3 in 10 innings. The highest run also came from Burak Haşhas with 9.
