Twelve places left for World championship in Sluiskil

Alexander Salazar (Colombia) is one of the players with a wild card for the World championship in Sluiskil.

SLUISKIL - The deadline for the World championship three cushion in Sluiskil is the day after tomorro (wednesday, 15th september) and only twelve places are left. Filipos Kasidokostas, the world champion, was one of the seeded players who shared the top of the world ranking with twenty other players. The championship will be played with 48, in the qualifications with groups of three, later on in the knock out phase with sixteen.

Fifteen players received a wild card untill now, from the UMB and the federations CPB (America) and ACBC (Asia). The CEB will point his players tomorrow.

The players with the wild cards are:

Julian Morales (Colombia), Carlos M. Villegas (Col), Luis Avila (Mexico), Luis Aveiga (Ecuador), Jae Hyung Cho (United States), Pedro Piedrabuena (US), Daniel Aguilar (Peru), Alexander Salazar (Col), Youichirov Mori (Japan), Vinh Ly The (Vietnam), Dong Gung Kang (Korea), Jae Ho Cho (Kor), Jean Paul de Bruijn (Netherlands), Jean van Erp (Netherlands), Javier Teran (Ecuador).

The World championship will be hold in Sluiskil in a spectacular partycenter, where about 800 people can see the matches. The tickets for the final days are almost sold.

During the tournament there are demonstrations by Raymond Ceulemans, Semih Sayginers and music shows by Ramón Rodriguez.
