Twenty teams for qualification rounds European team cup

The Agipi team is automatically seeded for the final round

SCHILTIGHEIM – Twenty teams of four players, divided in five groups, are playing the qualification round for the finale of the European cup for teams 2011. The matches will be played on 23 and 24 of April, the winners will meet in the finals in the Agipi arena in Schiltigheim from 9 until 12 June.
The team of Agipi is the title holder and don’t need to play the qualification. The teams with the most known players are Caseta Nova (Spain) with Tayfun Tasdemir, Murat Naci Coklu, Ruben Legazpi and Javier Palazón, BK Gröndal (Danmark) with Dion Nelin, Tonny Carlsen, Brian Zola Hanbsen and Jacob Haack Sörensen, Leixoes (Portugal) with Dick Jaspers and Martin Horn, BC Elversberg (Germany) with Jef Philipoom and Kurt Ceulemans, Porto (Portugal) with Dani Sánchez and Semih Sayginer, Andernos (Frankrijk) with Roland Forthomme and Peter de Backer, Gandia (Spain) with Eddy Leppens and Sergio Jimenez and Clichy-Montmartre with Eddy Meckx, Michael Nilsson, Richard Bitalis and Jean Reverchon.
