SLUISKIL / MALLE - The Dutch and the Belgian league start this year with an obvious favorite for the title. The champion in these two countries has been strengthened with the transfers of Dick Jaspers and Eddy Merckx. Frédéric Caudron remains the leader, Jean Paul de Bruijn is fourth man.

The team will be launched in the Netherlands under the name AEJ/Dallinga, in Belgium the name is De Goeie Queue/AEJ. The main rivals in both leagues don't want to accept a mastery of this team, which is considered the strongest in the world and is the major contender in the European Cup to threaten the Turkish team Bahcelievler.

BC De Goeie Queue said farewell to Eddy Leppens and Peter Ceulemans after having won the title this year in Belgium. The Dutch champion Dallinga/Frans Bevers didn't continue the contracs with Eddy Leppens and Glenn Hoffman.

Torbjörn Blomdahl is the spectacular purchase of BC Deurne. The Swede, who didn't play in Belgium for some years, showed his great form already in the Verhoeven Open in New York. He starts in an almost entirely new team with Jef Philipoom, Jean van Erp, Davy Havere and Ludo Dielis.

The competition in the Netherlands has been announced today. The start is on Sunday, September 7th, the final round on April 12 in 2015. The Belgian league is starting on Monday, September 8, the final round is on Tuesday, April 14 of 2015.

Mr 100 Lier relegated from the highest class and will do a shot at the title in the second class with Peter, Kurt, Raymond and Bart Ceulemans.
