MEDELLIN - Two match in the series of eight, in the World Cup 1/8 finals today (Friday ) have a rich history. Marco Zanetti and Filippos Kasidokostas and the Belgian fighters Eddy Merckx and Eddy Leppens have starred in wonderful battles in recent years.

The Koreans Sung -Won Choi and Jae Ho Cho met each other many times in Asia. At the international stage, they played only one time: in the World Cup of Matosinhos, sixteenth finals in 2011. Jae Ho Cho triumphed 3-1 in sets.

Jérémy Bury and Lütfi Cenet crossed swords in the Agipi Masters in 2013 and the World Cup of Hurghada in 2012. Both times Cenet won: in the Agipi Masters 50-48 (30), in Hurghada 3-2 in sets.

Dick Jaspers never officially played against Alexander Salazar: both players made it to the semifinals at the World championship in Antwerp, where Jaspers lost to Kasidokostas and Salazar to Caudron.
