The Greek Vagelis was the second best in the day ranking behind Barry van Beers.

ANTALYA - Two young Koreans, known as the greatest talents in three cushion, the experienced German Christian Rudolph and the Turks Yilmaz Özcan and Murat Tüzül have been eliminated on the day before the last qualifying round of the World Cup in Antalya. The Korean HaengJik Kim, triple junior world champion, will not return tomorrow. The 14-year-old Myung Woo Cho, another much-vaunted promise, will also miss the main tournament.

They were send home on the day with a lot of surprising results. Ronny Lindemann had such a great start, but lost the second game of the group against David Pennör. Christian Rudolph even didn't managed to win one of his two matches.

The Dutchman Barry van Beers rose to great heights in his two appearances. He finished as first in the day ranking with 2.142 average. Second was the Greek Vagelis Moulos with 1.578, before Kostas Papakonstantinou and Glenn Hoffman with 1.500.

The Korean In-Won Kang also had a shining start, but lost his second match against Gerhard Kostistansky. He ended up with an average to be proud of: 1.764.
