Jean Jarjoura plan
Here are some details of a 3 years plan created by Jean Jarjoura for the worldwide development of 3-cushion carom. this plan is intended for the umb, ceb and all federations:
1-"OPEN" tournaments for 48 players
2-16 groups of 3 players
3-16 places reserved for top players
4-32 places for good players- average between 0.900 and 1.350- on "first come first served" basis
5-only one player out per group in the qualifications then direct K.O.
6-40 separate "OPEN"a year in 40 european cities
7-no ranking points given for this plan of 3 years
some benefits of this plan are:
1-to create competition between european cities to organize "OPEN" with significant and growing prize money ,like in tennis- 320.000 EURO is the prize money for the winner of world snooker-
2-to give more advantage for top players to qualify for the finals
3-to give more chance for good players to go through the finals

What a plan !
Good luck for this plan. I see, that in many federations, peaple have some ideas to developt our sport. But what about the leaders of CEB and UMB. Are they also a plan for the next years?

In first, what we need are sponsors to give money for an attractive tournement series!
