Korean player Sang Woon Ko, for two days in the top of the standings

SEOUL - There was'nt much opposition from the Turkish Bulut, Alp and Salman, not from the Colombian Carlos Campino. The Asian players were still way too strong on the second day at the World Cup in Seoul. The ranking was led by three Koreans, of whom Chang Hoon Seo was the best with 1.935 followed by Sang Woon Ko and Tae Jun Oh. The only three non-Asians were at the bottom of the list with group winners: Mehmet Goren from Turkey, Mauricio Aguilar from Colombia and Kevin Vasseur from France.

Who will threaten the Asians on their own soil? From tomorrow, Wednesday, some well-known names come into the tournament, such as Dion Nelin, Robinson Morales, Filippos Kasidokostas, Jose Juan Garcia, Kostas Kokkoris, Glenn Hoffman, Kostas Papakonstantinou and Jean Paul de Bruijn. But from the home country, we will see again Chi Yeon Cho, the recent finalist at the Survival Masters, and the world champion national teams, Jae-Guen Kim. The level for sure will rise on the third day of the tournament. The group of death is known in advance: Chi Yeon Cho, Choong-Bok Lee and Yusuke Mori!!

Mehmet Goren was the only Turk in the winners schedule on Tuesday. Savas Bulut was the best runner-up with 2 points and 1.348, Gökhan Salman (1 point, 0.855), Ahmet Alp (0 points, 1.186), Ali Kemal Gunaydin (2 points, 0.646) and most of all Gülsen Degener (0 points 0.454) were in the downhill part of the rankings. That was also for Carlos Campino, one of the better Colombians. There were also disappointments among the Asians: Jung Ju Shin, Ji Hun Ahn and Shouta Funaki.
