The bump between Caudron and Blomdahl, this week on Friday in Caseta Nova

CASTALLA - Two days after the bump in the French league, tonight in Nancy, Frédéric Caudron and Torbjörn Blomdahl meet again this Friday (February 28). The two heavyweights of the international three cushion play a match in the renowned Hotel Caseta Nova in Castalla, Spain, which was intended to be a contest between the world champion and the world's number one.

However, Frédéric Caudron is both the world champion and the number one. The organizer of the match, Javier Jimeno, therefore has invited the Swede Torbjörn Blomdahl, number two in the world, as opponent for Caudron.

The match will be played over forty innings, starting on Friday at 19.00 and can be viewed according to the pay-per-view system of Caseta Nova. The players are paid according to the average: for 1.000 average, for example, they receive 1000 euros, for 2.500 they're rewarded by 2500 euros.

In addition, the organizer, Javier Jimeno, offers a small, 25 gram gold bar engraved with the name of the winner.

The contest will end with a big party. Places in the billiard room are sold for fifty euros, including a meal. There are 200 seats on three sides of the table. The restaurant Caseta Nova, which was the sponsor a top team with Dani Sánchez years ago, is located in a wonderful area with thousands of vineyards, olive trees and almond trees.

Toniht, Blomdahl and Caudron played for the French league. The Swede won 50-32 in 19 innings.
