World champion juniors on reserve list of 26 players

Juniors world champion Haeng Jik Kim on the reserve list in Hurghada

HURGHADA - The Korean player Heang Jik Kim is one of the 26 reserve players for the Worldcup in Hurghada. The 18-year-old junior world champion is the number four on the list. Adnan Yüksel on place 128 is the last player who participates in the tournament, that will been played 5-11 December.

The Worldcup in Egypt is the last of the cyclus in 2010. Dick Jaspers is the leader of the ranking and is almost sure for winning the cup. The Dutchman totalized 172 points, Frédéric Caudron 132, Kyung-Roul Kim 122, Martin Horn 108, Filippos Kasidokostas 100, Jërémy Bury 84 and Tayfun Tasdemir 70.

Mr. Farouk Barki, the sportsdirector of the UMB, expects that in 2011 maybe there will be five Worldcups on the calender. The start is in Trabzon (Turkey) from 14-20 February, following by Las Vegas from 4-10 April, 26 September-2 October is the tournament in Vienna. The two other candidates are Porto and Hurghada.
