Worldcup Hurghada has opened inscription

HURGHADA - The Worldcup tournament in Hurghada, from 5-11 December, has opened the inscription for players. Twelve seeded players have confirmed, the only wildcard for this moment has been given to Nikos Polychronopoulos. Dick Jaspers leads the ranking in the Worldcup for 2010 with 172 points, Frédéric Caudron is the second with 132 points, followed by Kyung-Roul Kim (122), Martin Horn (108) and Filippos Kasidokostas (100).

Dick Jaspers also will attack the number one of the World ranking in Hurghada. Frédéric Caudron leads with only five points on Jaspers (431-426), but the Belgian wil loose in Hurghada the 80 points he won by winning the World cup in Sluiskil, where Jaspers collected only sixteen points.

The twelve seeded players for Hurghada are Frédéric Caudron, Dick Jaspers, Eddy Merckx, Kyung-Roul Kim, Filippos Kasidokostas, Martin Horn, Torbjörn Blomdahl, Tayfun Tasdemir, Jef Philipoom, Marco Zanetti, Jérémy Bury and Daniel Sánchez. The deadline for inscription is on 14 November. For the players 13/32 of the ranking the organization has reserved a place in the tournament until 24th of October.

The last World cup of the year will be played in the Sunrise Garden Beach Resort in Hurghada. Omar Samy is the tournament director. The first price is 5500 euros, the second 3500, the third 2200.
