Xavier le Roy the number one in France

ANDERNOS- After two losses in the final, Xavier Le Roy snatched the third French one cushion tournament, showing his high class in this discipline. He won the third and final tournament in Andernos in the final against Alain Remond 120-50 in seven innings.

The Franconville player finished of the series of three tournaments as the leader of the ranking with 282 points ahead of Alain Remond with 225, Willy Germinot 183, Bernard Villiers with 153 and Nicolas Gérassimopoulos and Grégory Le Deventec with 135. Le Roy qualified first for the finale.

He is the fourth French player to win a national tournament with over 10.00 average: Le Roy finished 11.53 in Andernos. Alain Remond was second with 9.81 and had a best match with 24.00 average. The podium was completed by Johann Petit (8.92) and the local favorite Nicolas Gérassimopoulos (9.12), who showed up with the highest run 65.
