Dani Sánchez won his matches and tops the ranking with Munich

MUNICH - Bergisch Gladbach has lost another match point on the second day in this weekend's double schedule in the Bundesliga. The main favorite for the title drew against GT Buer (4-4) and again Marin Horn, who showed such a great form in recent weeks, was defeated, now by Stefan Galla 40-30 in 27 innings.

BC Munich remained in the lead by victories of Dani Sánchez and Christos Christodoulidis in the match against Krefeld. Sánehz secured victory against Wesley de Jaeger 40-28 in 17. Marco Zanetti played a draw against Thorsten Frings: 40-40 in 27 innings.

Nikos Polychronopoulos recovered from the loss on Saturday and now bested Markus Gala 40-18 in 18 innings. Jens Eggers defeated Stefan Hetzel in 25 innings, Uwe Kerls (GT Buer) beat Thomas Horcher by a one carom margin: 40-39.

BA Bottroper, after its magnificent victory against Bergisch on Saturday, now lost to Elversberg 8-0. Frédéric Caudron and Jean Paul de Bruijn, also teammates normally in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, won their matches in 26 and 28 innings vs Christian Rudolph and Dusten Jäschke.

Ravensburger took its second victory this weekend: 5-3 against Sterkrade with flawless Turkish performances for Birol Uymaz and Can Capak in 18 and 23 innings.

BC Munich leads the table after this weekend with 13 points ahead of Bergisch Gladbach 11, GT Buer 10 and BC Magdeburg with nine points.
