64 Players for the Europeans in three-cushion

Marco Zanetti is the title defender at the European championship in Brandenburg

BRANDENBURG AN DER HAVEL - The Italian star player Marco Zanetti defends his title at the European championship three-cushion, played in Brandenburg an der Havel from 24 to 26 April. The European federation has announced the 64 players who will participate in the tournament.

The Belgians have with eight the most players in the field. Eddy Merckx and Frédéric Caudron are the leaders of the delegation with Roland Forthomme, the Belgian champion Eddy Leppens, Peter Ceulemans, Francis Forton, Martin Spoormans and Jef Philipoom.

The Turks are coming to Brandenburg with Tayfun Tasdemir, Murat Naci Coklu, Lütfi Cenet, Adnan Yüksel, Tolgahan Kiraz, Murat Tüzül and Semih Sayginer, who's certainly one of the most notable players in the field of 64.

For the Netherlands will play Dick Jaspers, Jean Paul de Bruijn, the Dutch champion Jean van Erp, Glenn Hoffman, Raimond Burgman and Barry van Beers.

The German delegation consists of Christian Rudolph, Martin Horn, Dustin Jäschke, Ronny Lindemann and Andreas Niehaus. On the reserve list, which is led by Cédric Melnytschenko are eight German players.
