ANDERNOS - Very soon after Eddy Merckx' victory, a new edition of the Kozoom 3C Challenge Cup is on its way this week. From tomorrow (Tuesday, May 11) until Thursday (May 13) the players for Group F are at the start. The three main players of the week come from France, Belgium and Denmark, named Jérémy Bury, Peter de Backer and Jacob Haack-Sörensen. The Belgian and Danish player replace Semih Sayginer and Therese Klompenhouwer who are not available.

There is also news for the next group: Spaniard José Maria Mas takes the place of Murat Naci Coklu in the group of Dion Nelin and Jérôme Barbeillon from 15 to 17 May.

Of the three previous players who qualified, Spaniard Ruben Legázpi (13 sets won) got strong opposition from Mikaël Devogelaere. Dick Jaspers (16 sets) and Eddy Merckx (19 sets) dominated their opponents with averages around 1,800.

For the fourth group stage this week, Jérémy Bury is the favorite, but the two opponents are very known and experienced players. Both the Dane and the Belgian are supposed to have serious chances of qualifying and each day's session is likely to be exciting.

In short: for the spectators, the Kozoom subscribers, it is a wonderful opportunity again to follow the 8 sets of 10 points live on the website every day. With the added bonus of the enlightening commentary by the living legend Torbjörn Blomdahl!
