Dani Sánchez lost his tough match against Vietnamese Vinh Ly The

PORTO - Dani Sánchez is fighting foor his last chance in the last evening sessions at the World Cup in Porto after the Spanish triple world champion lost his first match against. ,, I still have a chance, but I must win'', said Sánchez just before his decisive match. His opponent is the Korean In-Won Kang.

Sánchez recovered from a serious backlog in his tough battle with Vinh Ly The (34-17), came back and even missed his last point after a 12 run. The Vietnamese then closed the match at 40-39.

The Portuguese favorite Rui Costa is eliminated after two defeats, Peter Ceulemans and Nikos Polychronopoulos compete for the group win and Pierre Soumagne is depending on the match Lee-Nguyen after a strong win against Choong-Bok Lee (40-22 in 14 innings, run 14).

Javier Palazón can go home after two losses, Jean Paul de Bruijn needs a little miracle against Duc Anh Chien Nguyen and Glenn Hoffman fights for the qualification with Dinh Nai Ngo.
Two Belgians are not in a best mood after one loss: Eddy Leppens lost to Savas Bulut (40-24 in 20) and Roland Forthomme to Ruben Legazpi (40-26 in 23).
