Dani Sánchez, the winner in Veghel World Cup, is back in the world's top 3

VEGHEL - The Spanish winner Dani Sánchez has made a jump of three places on the World ranking list after his victory in the Veghel World Cup. Thanks to the 80 ranking points for the winner, Sánchez is with 336 now number three on the UMB ranking following Dick Jaspers (402) and Marco Zanetti (348). The top 14 underwent some changes.

Jung Han Heo returns thanks to his final place to the top 14, which is important for the tickets in the UMB World Cups. The Korean had to play in Veghel in the last qualification. Jérémy Bury moved up one place and is now number 14. That was at the cost of Murat Naci Coklu, who dropped three places and is number 15 now.

In the top five, Jaspers and Zanetti remained on 1 and 2, Sánchez moved up to 3, Torbjörn Blomdahl moved up one place and is now on 4 and Eddy Merckx dropped two places. The Belgian is now fifth. The Vietnamese players, who due to the COVID situation in their country could not come to Veghel, remain at the same number of points as in the previous ranking. That was the same for young Myung-woo Cho, the Korean who is doing his military service and cannot participate in foreign events.

The biggest jumps were made by Jeffrey Jorissen, who climbed 166 places and is with his 35 points in Veghel now 83rd. Korean Ji-hun Ahn, another stuntman in Veghel, climbed 139 points and is now number 113. Robinson Morales, who returned from PBA, entered the top 100.
