DBC Bochum strong in his home match

BOCHUM - Two balkline players, Ludger Havlik and Thomas Nockemann, were the gold diggers for DBC Bochum in the preliminary rounds of the European championship classic games this afternoon. They both remained unbeaten in three matches, while Fabian Bondeel could only play one draw in one cushion.

The home team DBC Bochum was nevertheless the strongest and the winner in the group with Centelles, Ronchin and the Swiss national team. The last match against Centelles was decisive for the first place in the rank. Fabian Blondeel started with a defeat against Frédéric Caudron (120-92 in 7), but in the balkline games Havlik and Nockeman turned the match into a victory with perfect winst against Raul Cuenca and Esteve Mata.

Havlik came in the 47/2 in six innings to the finish line, his opponent Cuenca failed in the equalizer and ended up at 57 caroms. Thomas Nockemann had a formidable run of 185 against Esteve Mata. The Spaniard missed not far from the finish.

The Bochum team, which is certainly seeded for the final in Hoogeveen, ended up as first with six match points before Centelles with four, Ronchin with two and the Swiss national team, which finished without points.
