Will Lütfi Cenet be able to repeat what he showed in his first appearance in the Agipi Masters yesterday against Nikos Polychronopoulos? What can we expect from Pierre Soumagne and Cédric Melnytschenko, the two young Frenchmen who tied in their match and will meet CenET and Polychronopoulos,  two undisputed top players, in the second round?

This morning (10.00) the second round has started in Group 4. Lütfi Cenet, who sparkled in his match against Polychronopoulos (50 in 19 innings with runs of 15 and 11), is the only player who can be seeded by a victory against Soumagne. The decision for the second place will fal tonight.

Pierre Soumagne, this morning at the breakfast: ,,It makes no difference to me, whether I win or lose against Cenet: I have to win my last match against Polychronopoulos this evening to be qualified.''

Nikos Polychronopoulos fights for his last chance: after his loss against Cenet he is obliged to grab the win in his next duels with the two Frenchmen.

In the other group with Tayfun Tasemir, Jean Christophe Roux and the Koreans Dong-Koong Kang and Jae-Ho Cho (Group 1), the tickets for the next round will be distributed around six this evening. The tension will be high, because all four players still have a chance to qualify. Tayfun Tasdemir leads the rank with three match points, the Koreans have two points, Jean Christoph Roux one.

Tasdemir will play against Cho, Kang against Roux.
