Dick Jaspers schitterde tegen Frans van Kuyk met een serie van twintig.

TURNHOUT - Two Dutch players have stolen de show in the first matches of the third round. Dick Jaspers and Frans van Kuyk played a draw in their game (50-50 in 25 innings), Jaspers made a highest run of twenty in the match, the highest so far in the league. He did it when Frans van Kuyk led 27-14

Two other matches also ended in a tie: Roland Forthomme and Eddy Merckx came to the finish line in 28 innings, Guy van Litsenborg and Steven Acker in 34 innings. Eddy Merckx made in his game against Roland Forthomme a run of thirteen.

BC Herentals is the leader in the rank after three of six matches in this round. BC De Ploeg had to catch up one match on Thursday against Kasteeldreef.

KBC Zanzibar is in second position thanks to the 7-1 victory against BC Quality Zele, the team that doesn't seem to be one of the contenders for a top position this year. Peter de Backer is not in a great form so far (0.914), Glenn Hoffman suffered a defeat (0.972) and Dirk Vlerick was again the weakest link in the team.

BC Deurne won the away match against BC Biljart Express 6-2 by Jean Paul de Bruijn against Gerwin Valentijn (50-42 in 33), Davy van Havere, who beat Martin Spoormans (42-39 in 37). De Bruijn showed his constant form again in this encounter.

Dion Nelin (50-27 against Ronny Brants), Christian Rudolph and Geert Meylemans, who surprisingly won against the Frenchman Melnytschenko, gathered the points for BC Herentals.
