Jérémy Bury and Jean Christoph Roux were good for a 4-0 advantage.

The revenge of Jean Christoph Roux ran parallel with the affirmation of the form that Jérémy Bury showed yesterday. Agipi took a 4-0 lead in the meeting with Horster Eck this afternoon and has already secured himself of a place in the semifinals. Roux, who lost 2-1 against Manuel Rui Costa of FC Porto yesterday, played an excellent second set now against Frank Eversmann.

The Frenchman, number four from the defending champion, still needed sixteen innings for the first set (15-10), but won the second in three with a start of ten in the first inning, followed by zero and five caroms. That brought his average over the match to 1.578.

Jérémy Bury couldn't reach the level of yesterday (3.000 average) in his duel with the flamboyant German Marcus Dömer, but he held his opponent on a comfortable distance in sets of 15-6 (12) and 15-6 (8).

Frédéric Caudron in his match with Haeng Jik Kim and Marco Zanetti against Thorste Frings must determine whether Agipi will finish the preliminaries with the full match points.
