The Dutch cup holder, Dallinga, defends its title in Zundert

ZUNDERT - The outcome could not be better. The Dutch cup final, from 3 to 6 April in Biljartcentrum Den Hoek in Zundert, will be a tournament with the top teams in the league. That means the audience can await all the top players to show up in the Brabant arena.

The cup holder, Dallinga-Frans Bevers, is performing in the cup final with this year's line-up. The team will change for next season, when the dreamteam will enter the league, with Frédéric Caudron and Jean Paul de Bruijn, strengthened by Dick Jaspers and Eddy Merckx.

Jan Kikken, the team leader, still can be considered as the big favourite with Frédéric Caudron, Eddy Leppens, Jean Paul de Bruijn and Glenn Hoffman as the cup holder. The competition is fierce, including from Heerhugowaard, where the former Partycentrum Osdorp has found its new location.

That team, now under the name of De Heeren/Millers Biljarts, plays the final with Dick Jaspers, Eddy Merckx, Frans van Kuijk and Dick Uum: certainly a very strong opponent for the cup holder.

The home team, recently called Press Plate/Machielsen.fa is another feared opponent with its line-up Roland Forthomme, Peter Ceulemans, Barry van Beers and Raymon Groot.

With the guarantee of a new sponsor for years, the Zundert team will show a lot of ambition at the start of the finals. Moreover they can be assured that there is a great support of the home crowd.

Holland Mineraal from Lochem has the Turkish top player Murat Naci Coklu as its leader, Anno de Kleine on two, who starred this year with absolute top performance (50 in nine innings) and German Steffan Galla, in an excellent already form some for weeks.
A1 Biljarts (including Raimond Burgman and Martien van der Spoel) and Garage Verbrugge Hyundai (Bart Ceulemans, Therese Klompenhouwer) complete Group A.

Group B is led by De Heeren/Miller Biljarts and Press Plate/Machielsen.fa. The numbers three and four on the list are Biljartcafé Jorissen, amongst others with Jean van Erp, Raymond Ceulemans and Jeffrey Jorissen and Van Wanrooy Transport, including Kurt Ceulemans, Frank Martens and Jan Arnouts.

Biljartcentrum Den Hoek is preparing for a great event which starts off on Thursday, April 3rd at 14.00. The semifinals are on Saturday from 20.00, the final is Sunday at 14.00.

The matches will be broadcast live on kozoom.com
