The ninth round is played this Sunday with four matches

The three-cushion premier league, DKM Tools league, is slightly affected by the growing COVID crisis this weekend. Two matches of six are cancelled in the ninth round because of personnel problems: SIS Schoonmaak against Bousema Lochem and 't Hartje van Oosterhout against Aartsbouw Sprundel have been postponed to a later day. This Saturday, Team Eekhoorn-J&F Auto's will be played ahead of the tenth round.

SIS Schoonmaak remains the frontrunner, as the team has a six point lead out of nine games played. Cues&Darts can come a bit closer with a good result in the home match against Dallinga. A1 DPC plays the away match against J&F Auto's and can remain in top four.

With four matches on the schedule, there are some interesting matches on Sunday. In J&F vs A1 there is the interesting encounter between Jeffrey Jorissen and Dave Christiani, both high on the national ranking. For Team Eekhoorn, Peter Ceulemans, who had to cancel the World Cup in Veghel, returns in the arena for the match with Gerwin Valentijn.

Roland Forthomme is missing as the front man in Zundert, because he had to substitute for Dick Jaspers in the Lausanne Billard Masters at the last minute. He is replaced 'on 1' by Thorsten Frings. On centercourt in the match between Cues&Darts and Dallinga, two former PBA players meet: Pierre Soumagne and Jean Paul de Bruijn.
