The Dutch teams in the three cushion league, the DKM Tools League, can finally go wild this weekend. The pandemic no longer disturbs the season start. For 48 billiard players in the highest league, divided over 12 teams, it can finally kick off again: what a relief after the long silence. The line-ups have been made by the team managers: in the 12 teams, 26 Dutch billiard players, 16 Belgians, 5 Germans and 1 Frenchman will be in action on Sunday (1 pm).

The most striking facts in the teams to kick-off?

Dick Jaspers has a tough schedule for the coming week: This Sunday after the SIS match, he flies to Austria for a league match on Tuesday, then it's off to Bordeaux for the Kozoom final later in the week in Cap Ferret.

Jean Paul de Bruijn returns after his adventure in Korea and is Dallinga's head man with a top march on the way this Sunday: Jean Paul de Bruijn-Roland Forthomme.

Dave Christiani is ready to start: his performanc was exciting for a while, but Thursday at 8.46am, Dave and Daisy became the happy father and mother of a son: Xavi. Dave says: ''It was a turbo birth, we couldn't be prouder and happier.''

The SIS Schoonmaak team, the absolute favorite for the title, brings two world class players into the arena for the first home match: Dick Jaspers and Eddy Merckx.

In the Brabant derby Team Eekhoorn-'t Hartje van Oosterhout, foreign players are in the majority: 5 Belgians and 3 Dutch.

Two real Belgian routines are spearheads for 't Hartje: Ludo Dielis and Martin Spoormans.

Bousema Lochem-Aartsbouw Sprundel is also a gala of foreigners: two Dutchmen in action with 3 Belgians and 3 Germans.

The Hague team of J&F Auto's is the only foursome with four Dutchmen in the line-up.
