LAUSANNE - The European billiard federation CEB and the Lausanne Billard Masters have made new announcements for the billiard calendar in this Corona era. Diane Wild, president of the CEB and organizer of the Lausanne Billard Masters, has launched the LBM tournament on the calendar for the next four years in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. The tournament was cancelled for this year. Jean Pierre Guiraud of CEB announced the new dates of three tournaments: the European one cushion championship in Paiporta, the CEB Grand Prix artistic in Rosmalen and the Coupe d'Europe 5-pins in Tirol.

Diane Wild commented on the early cancellation of this year's Lausanne Billard Masters. ''We did it for sponsors, players and for the location, because we can't wait until September to make the decision. At this time, we don't yet know if people from outside Europe are allowed to enter Switzerland in November. We took the wisest decision.''

The Spanish city of Paiporta will host the European championship one cushion from November 27 to 29 2020. The most striking title holder in the last editions is Frédéric Caudron, who won his the last edition in 2017 in Brandenburg followed by Jean Paul de Bruijn, Raymund Swertz and Raul Cuenca. Dave Christiani is the reigning champion, he won the final in 2019 against Eddy Leppens. The field of participants will be composed after the closing of the registrations, which will be opened early September.

The CEB Grand Prix Artistic will be played in Rosmalen from April 23 to 25 in 2021. The Coupe d'Europe 5-Pins for national teams in Hall, Tirol, from May 13 to 16, 2021.

The CEB announced before the new dates of the European championship artistic from 5-8 November in Gandia, the European championschap balk-line 47/2 and 71/2 in Montbrison, France from 21-24 May 2021 and the Coupe d'Europe 5 pins for clubteams from 3-6 of June 2021 in Roeselare, Belgium.

The national federations are requested to send their latest results of national championships to the CEB before 24 August 2020.
