The German championship with 470 athletes and many new champions

BAD WILDUNGEN - The players, officials and billiard fans had to wait for a long time, but from 22 October to 7 November it is finally time again: the German billiard championships are back after the pandemic break. The venue is familiar and well-known in Bad Wildungen, Northern Hesse.

It has been two years since the last time players of all disciplines took part in the championship, for the youth it has even been two and a half years. The Youth Championship is normally played after the Easter holidays, this year it is scheduled for the autumn holidays and thus directly before the senior championships.

That means you can experience 17 days of top billiard sport in all age groups and disciplines in Bad Wildungen.

A total of 29 new German champions will be honoured for the seniors from 29 October to 7 November 2021. In the junior classes, 38 new champions will emerge from the event that will be played from 22 to 28 October.

A total of 470 athletes will compete, playing the championship under the eye of 100 coaches, referees and organisers.

This year there will also be a live stream from the Wandelhalle. One table for carom, pool and snooker will be streamed via www.sportdeutschland.tv with expert commentary.

Match schedules, results and tables are available on the DBU website under Matchmaking/Singles.

Live stream schedules, daily reports and royalty-free photos will be available on the DJM/DM media page from 22 October.

Kind regards
Achim Gharbi, PR and Press Manager.
