HaengJik Kim defeated Dong-Koong Kang in the final match

SEOUL - The Korean player HaengJik Kim has won a big tournament in his country. In the final of the TV Billiards Korea Open he defeated Dong-Koong Kang 40-35 in 20 innings.

The young, four times junior world champion, confirmed his form: in the Luxor World Cup, last month, he showed up in some excellent matches and was only beaten by a fantastic Dick Jaspers in the final.

In the Korean tournament, Seung Jin Lee sparkled with the best match: 40 in 14 innings.

Haeng Jik Kim bested Duk Jin Jang by 40-22 in the semifinals (18 innings) and Sang-Pi Um in the quarterfinals 40-39 in 23.

Dong-Koong Kang came to the finals by a victory over  Jun Hyeok Lim in the semifinals (40-34 in 38) and against Seung-Jin Lee in the quarters (40-22 in 16).
