PAIPORTA - The Spanish Paiporta team is the ample leader in the national team competition after seven rounds. The eight teams have reached half of the competition. The Paiporta Billiard Club, with Javier Palazón, Sergio Jiménez and Xavier Yeste, has a 4-points lead over Móstoles and five over Palma after the 6-2 win against Valencia. Carlos Crespo was on the team of Palma the best player of the day with 2,500 on average. In the lower regions, Kalima Rivas and Gandía suffered two losses, leaving these teams in relegation places.
The leader Paiporta secured its seventh victory in seven match playing against Valencia with a win for Javier Palazón against Peñalva (40 in 18 innings), Sergio Jiménez against Armando Moreno and Xavier Yeste against Avallone. Villora, playing for Valencia, defeated Jorge Cantó. Paiporta achieved a team average of 1,703.
In the 'Atheneum', the number two of the ranking, CB Móstoles, achieved an equal score. The most striking match was the meeting between David Martínez and Rubén Legazpi with a better start for Legazpi, who led 23-12 in 12 innings. The 'Tiger of Montcada', David Martinez, irresistibly attacked from that score to the finish with runs of 6-10-5-3-1-3 for a 40-26 win in 18. José María Más defeated Joao Ferreira, Alfonso Legazpi won against Saúl Corro and Jesús Gallén against Adrián Legazpi.
The Palma team won the away match against Gandía with the maximum score 0-8. The reigning champion played a high-class match with 1,616 on average. Carlos Crespo was the best man on his team with 2,500 on average, the best score of the day. Juan David Zapata beat Gwendal Maréchal averaging 1,818.
