Dion Nelin launched the bundesliga with two excellent matches and 2,500 on average

MAGDEBURG - The BC Magdeburg team is the first leader in the Bundesliga after the first and double weekend. The reigning champion and BC International have the maximum of four match points out of two matches. Dick Jaspers and Dion Nelin showed top form on the second day with victories in 16 and 14 innings (2,500 and 2,857). Jaspers surprisingly lost to Jose Maria Mas on Saturday, 40-36 in 24 innings. Nelin achieved a win in 18 innings on that first day and played 2,500 over two games.

BC Magdeburg won its two matches against BC Witten (6-2) and BC Nied (6-2). BC International, without Martin Horn, was the better of BC Witten 5-3 and BC Nied 6-2. BC Witten, the champion two years ago, remained at the bottom of the ranking with zero points. Jaspers left Ronny Lindemann far down against Witten on Saturday (40-14 in 16), Dion Nelin was a way too strong for Murat Gökmen (40-11 in 14).

BC Elversberg, the number 3 on the ranking after two days, played with Ruben Legazpi and Carlos Crespo and won 8-0 against Bottroper on Saturday. On the second day, Elversberg stumbled over newcomer BC Elfenbein (4-4). Legazpi beat John Tijssens 40-31 in 29, Crespo lost to Martin Spoormans 40-29 in 32. BC Munich won his first match in the double weekend and defeated Stuttgart 8-0 with a nice win for Lütfi Cenet over Dustin Jächke: 40-20 in 21. Kostas Kokkoris beat young Lukas Stam 40-16 in 29. München and Stuttgart had a day off on Sunday.

Jean van Erp, who skipped his match with his team from The Hague in the Netherlands for the German league on Sunday, won 6-2 with Bottroper against Wendel and lost to Jérôme Barbeillon 40-33 in 24. Christian Rudolph beat Radovan Hajek 40- 23 in 31.
