ANDERNOS - Pierre Soumagne and Jérôme Barbeillon are eliminated in the group matches at the last three cushion Grand Prix in France. The most important candidate for the final victory is Jérémy Bury, who made the best impression so far, met Mikael Devogelaere in the quarterfinals and won 40-22 in 27 innings.

The Billiards club Andernos is hosting the fifth and final tournament, in which the finals are played today, Sunday. The final result is decisive to advance to the French championship.

Jérémy Bury, Jean Reverchon and Jean-Christophe Roux won the last tournaments. Pierre Soumagne was eliminated in the group matches in Andernos by Michel Dore, Jérôme Barbeillon lost vs Bernard Baudoin 40-30 (47).

Jean-Christophe Roux, who does not show up in Andernos, tops the ranking with 264 points ahead of Jérémy Bury 258, Pierre Soumagne 219, Jean Reverchon 183, Jérôme Barbeillon 171 and Francis Connesson 153.

The quarterfinals for today are:
