The final between two Agipi players ended in a draw. Jérémy Bury excelled at the end of the tournament in Chatillon and beat his team mate Jean-Christophe Roux. The number ten of the world made four points from the final breakshot, Roux faltered after one carom in the penalty shot.
The bump between two of the best French players of the moment was not special, the climax was certainly exciting. Roux made four points in his equalizing inning after Bury had finished the match in 34 innings.
Bury's moment of glory lay in the semifinal. In that match he beat Michael Parize 40-12 in twelve innings. Roux defeated in the semifinal Jean Jacques Boidin.
The win in Chatillon was Bury's twentieth in a national ranking tournament. The next will be played from 14-16 January in Laxou.
