Koen Ceulemans shone with another win for his team.

LIER - The fifth round of the Belgian league ended with victories for Mr. 100 Lier and Quality Zele last night. Mister 100 added an important win to his total and climbed up to a place in the middle of the rank.

BC Quality played a flawless match against BC Lugo (8-0). The Antwerp team had a bad day and was far behind in all four matches of the evening.

Maarten Janssen of KBC Zanzibar was in the sixth round of the league without any doubt the most remarkable player. The Belgian lost his match against Ludo Dielis 42-16, but apparently the defense of the former Belgian top player was so strong, that Janssen had a lot of misses in his 29 innings. His score after the match? Janssen had a highest run of eleven, so in the remaining 28 innings he gathered only 5 caroms (!).

Last night were the two matches of BC Quality and Mr. 100. Eddy Merckx, Peter de Backer and Glenn Hofman played averages of 1.785, 1.612 and 1.354. Koen Ceulemans seems to find his rhythm for Mr. 100 after a weak start. He defeated Tom Ronge 42-21 and averaged 1.448.
