Kozoom to bronze medal in play-offs

SCHILTIGHEIM - The Kozoom team took the bronze medal in the French playoffs and probably will perform in the European preliminaries next season.  That was the surprising result after the battle for the third place between Kozoom and Andernos.

Kozoom thanked the victory primarily to Frédéric Mottet's win with twenty caroms difference in the early morning hours against Jérôome Barbeillon (50-30). The margin turned out to be decisive. The match itself ended in 4-4.

Dick Jaspers (Andernos) triumphed in the duel with Roland Forthomme 50-42 in 27 innings, but Peter De Backer (Kozoom) shone with a magnificent match against Filipos Kasidokostas, whom he beet in sixteen innings (50-46).
Francis Connesson (Andernos) defeated Marc Boignères 50-45.

The final between Agipi and Laxou is halfway and nothing seems to stop Agipi from the gold medal. The champion leads 4-0 and the scores were exceptionally large in both matches. Jérémy Bury defeated Pierre Soumagne 50-14 in 21 innings. Jean Christoph Roux won 50-19 against Eric Cremer (38).
