ESSEN - Martin Horn, one of the best European billiard players who has quickly returned to the world top after a brief stop in his career, has broken his right collarbone due to a bicycle fall. Horn will be operated on in Essen next Wednesday. He is definitely out for many weeks. The healing process can even last until November.
Martin Horn is optimistic and combative: "My goal is to reach the three cushion World championship in November." Two days ago, Horn was invited to the Lausanne Billard Masters, which will be played from 15 to 17 November. Ten days later the World championship will be played in Denmark.
Horn will certainly lose places on the world ranking, because he might miss the World Cups in Veghel and South Korea.
