Jean Reverchon, the day's best on Monday in Porto

PORTO - The seasoned Portuguese Manuel Rui Costa starts his second adventure in ten days today (Tuesday) in the FC Porto arena. The champion of his country is a child of the blue billiard stronghold, teaches young talents at the club and was part of the FC Porto team on Sunday in the lost European final against BC Baulois. Rui Costa must give his Portuguese country men a boost in the Wold Cup in Porto, after only two of them were among the top sixteen on the first day.

Manuel Santos Oliveira was one of them and the second in the daily ranking behind Jean Reverchon. The French artistic specialist, figurehead in the Morangis team, led the rankings with 4 match points and 1,463 on average. Two other Frenchmen, Enzo Riquart and Mikaël Devogelaere, fourth man in La Baule's team, finished in the upper part of the ranking. Joël Switala, the team boss of the new European champion, was eliminated with one win and one loss. Als for UMB board member Herbert Thuer from Austria, the performance was limited to the first day at the World Cup tournament.

Frenchman Adrie Tachoire, junior world champion in 2014, finished as the best runner-up after two matches against the strong Koreans Dong Hoon Kim and Jun Tae Kim.
