Friends in the billiard world and family said farewell to a great man in Turkish billiards.

ANTALYA - Turkish billiard world is shocked by the sudden death of Ali Yilmaz. The 51-year-old reporter and photographer was found dead in his hotel room on the second day of the Antalya World Cup. He probably died after a heart attack.

His family friends and many acquaintances from the billiard world said farewell to a legend in Turkish billiards this morning (Wednesday).

Ali Yilmaz was loved in the world in which he liked to work and meet his friends. He was a journalist and photographer for Billiards Magazine and was very known in the Turkish billiard federation, especially in the province of Istanbul.

Many billiard players were shocked after his dead and showed eep respect. Many foreign players remember Ali as a great personality. Therese Klompenhouwer, the Dutch billiards star for instance, wrote on her facebook: ,,Rest in peace, Ali Yilmaz, we will never forget you.''

Before the games in the World Cup in Antalya there was a minute of silence.
