Six teams compete for European Supercup

HAARLO - Dick Jaspers and Frédéric Caudron are by far the best known players in the six teams, which will compete on 20 and 21 May for the European Supercup for teams in the classic games. The tournament will be held over two days in Hotel Restaurant Prinsen in Haarl. This weekend the billiard room is also reserved for the individuel championships.

One of the favorite team for the Supercup is Your Event Live from Holland. They play in Group A with Oissel from France and Bochum from Germany. The multiple Dutch champion Cubri/Etikon stars as the favorite team in Group B with Patrick Niessen, Jean Paul de Bruijn and Henri Tilleman as main players.

Frédéric Caudron is the leader in the Spanish team team Centelles with Esteva Mata as a second man. Pierre Soumagne is playing on number one position for Soissons.

The group matches will be played on Friday from 10.00. The semi-finals and finals are on Saturday.

The composition of the groups, which will play on six billiards:
Group A:
Your Event Live, The Netherlands: Jaspers, Swertz, Van Silfhout, Volleberg.
Oissel, France: Kahofer, Jacquet, Petit.
Bochum, Germany: Blondeel, Havlik, Nockemann, Pöther, Kimmerskamp.

Group B:
Cubri/Etikon, Netherlands: Tilleman, Niessen, De Bruijn, Christiani.
Centelles, Spain: Caudron, Mata, Cuenca, Garriga, Banc Elles, Molina, Diez.
Soissons, France: Soumagne Remond, Dupont.
